Chief Development Officer & Co-Founder

Rich Ford

Considered one of the pioneers of the SFR industry, Rich is a driving force behind Roofstock’s rapid growth, spearheading the implementation of new services and tools intended to make the Roofstock platform a seamless experience for the end-user.

Rich has more than 20 years of M&A and capital raising experience.  He was a Managing Director at Jeffries, where he organized the first single-family rentals industry conference. He has also held positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, the Royal Bank of Canada, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers. 

VP of Business Development

Clayton Wyatt

Prior to joining Roofstock, Clayton served as Chief Capital Officer for a multifamily fund manager and tax credit syndicator with over $15B in residential assets under management. He has over 15 years of real estate experience in private equity, brokerage, construction/development, finance, and investment banking. Clayton has worked with all the public SFR REITs.

Clayton earned his MBA from Pepperdine University and B.S. from Brigham Young University.

Chris Willard

One of the earliest employees at Roofstock, Chris has advised on ~$1.5B in SFR sales across 10,000+ properties, and he played a crucial role in building the platform’s foundations for both retail and institutional investors. 

Chris has held acquisition and asset management roles at Waypoint Homes, Starwood Waypoint, and Colony Starwood, where he was responsible for the growth and management of their CA portfolio. He received his B.S. from the University of Arizona

Jason Green

An integral part of Roofstock's growth, Jason has over 17 years of experience in real estate, foreclosures, acquisitions, construction management, and asset management.

He has advised on over $1.5B in SFR sales across 10,000+ properties, and serves as the Managing Broker for all the Roofstock and Streetlane brokerages.

Senior Transaction Manager

Rebecca Petty

Rebecca has been the Senior Transaction Manager at Roofstock since 2016, managing over $775M in sales in 20+ markets from offer acceptance to close of escrow and property management transfer.

She has created and implemented programs resulting in reduced escrow durations and reduced cancellations rates while working across teams to maintain compliance and efficiencies of process. 

Rebecca has been a licensed attorney and real estate broker in California for 20+ years.

Real Estate Associate

Dan Crocker

Prior to joining Roofstock, Dan was part of the institutional multifamily sales team at CBRE as the Lead Investment and Valuation Specialist, and a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley managing approximately $700M on a two-person team for private clients.

Through his experience in the multifamily and single-family space, Dan has worked with the largest public and private investment groups in the residential sector. Dan earned his B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jessica Godwin

Jessica has over 15 years of experience in real estate and finance, including investment sales, acquisitions, private equity, investment banking, and homebuilding. She has participated in the sale of institutional-quality commercial real estate properties totaling over $1B. 

Jessica is currently pursuing her M.A. in Innovation and Design at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX. She has a B.A. in Real Estate Finance from SMU.

Olesya Epps

Olesya has over 13 years of experience working on real estate investment transactions across asset classes within the U.S. & EU markets. Over past four years, she has worked on real estate investment sales with a combined sales value of over $2.5B.

She received her M.S. in Property Investment from the University of Reading in the UK and her M.S. in Finance from University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic.

Holly O’Reilly

Prior to joining Roofstock, Holly was an Analyst in Blackstone’s Real Estate Private Equity Group, focusing on LivCor and BioMed, Blackstone’s multifamily and lab office portfolio companies. 

Prior to Blackstone, she was an Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays within the Real Estate Coverage Group covering a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions and supporting clients in accessing capital markets via public and private offerings of debt, equity, and convertible products. 

Holly received her B.S. in Finance from Fordham University.

Real Estate Analyst

Asher Gevisser

In addition to working on over $500M of SFR portfolio transactions, Asher has focused on building the technology and systems that have helped enable Roofstock to scale its institutional business. 

Prior to joining Roofstock, Asher worked in Citigroup’s technology corporate banking group, where he worked with the large tech companies on lines of credit and acquisition financing. 

He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. 

Real Estate Analyst

Jack Niethammer

Jack has three years of experience in commercial real estate banking working on multi-family, office, retail, and industrial asset classes. In the last two years, he was a Senior Analyst on the Northern California Strategic Real Estate Team at an institutional bank, where he worked on underwriting acquisitions, refinances, and portfolio management for the team’s regional debt portfolio of $1.8B.

Jack received his B.S. in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and has completed a formal two-year Financial Analyst Credit training program at an institutional bank.

Justin Hewitt

Prior to joining Roofstock, Justin was a GSE Underwriter at Walker & Dunlop focused on affordable multifamily transactions.

Justin received his B.S. in Management from Boston College with concentrations in Finance and Economics.

Dewei Zou

Dewei has over 3 years of experience in real estate investing, analyzing and underwriting. He has underwritten 50+ real estate projects in a variety of asset classes.

He received his BS in Economics and BA in Communication from the University of Washingyon.

Real Estate Analyst

John Paul (JP) Will

Prior to joining to Roofstock, JP worked in commercial real estate at Cushman & Wakefield and underwrote approximately $1B of Multifamily assets. He also spent a stint of time at PeerStreet , an online SFR platform for investing in real estate debt.

JP received a double major at Florida State University which included his B.S. in Finance and his B.S. in Real Estate.
